What’s your favorite Christmas movie?
Oh, the choices! I’ll name several of my favorites (not in any order)
A Christmas Story, The Christmas Child, A Charlie Brown Christmas, Miracle on 34th Street, How the Grinch Stole Christmas (animated - don’t like the live-action one), The Nativity Story, Trapped in Paradise (the language is a bit rough - so not really suitable for little ones - but if you can ignore the language it’s very funny for the big ones!), Holiday Inn, White Christmas, Muppet’s Christmas Carol - these are just a few on my list.
What are some of your favorites? There are so many to choose from that it’s hard to choose!
So, what are your favorites and which ones have you already watched this year?
I’ve nominated you as a Lemonade Award winner (not a bad thing!). Check out my latest blog (telecommuting.today.com) to find out how to pass it on!
As for my favorite movie- hard to pick just one. I love just about any version of A Christmas Carol (in particular, the Muppets - the penguin ice skating party is a hoot!) and Christmas Story- “You’ll shoot your eye out!”
I love The Muppets’ Christmas Carol too! haha I also like A Christmas Story, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, How the Grinch Stole Christmas (the animated one) and Christmas Vacation. My family loves Christmas Vacation because it reminds us soo much of our family. My parents usually have holiday get-togethers at their house and there is always someone that is hard to please. Also, he gets huge Christmas decorations and likes to go all out. He usually has an inflatable Christmas dog or bear in the front yard.
I’m a Christmas movie junkie myself, and there are only a couple I don’t like! My top favorites are classics of course - Miracle on 34th Street, White Christmas, Charlie Brown.
But I also like new ones that come out each year and they become yearly favorites too - Christmas Vacation, Stealing Christmas with Tony Danza and Betty White, Three Days, Elf, Surviving Christmas, all of the Christmas cartoon classics, and I’m sure there are lots of others. I just ordered this whole set of Holiday Classics (or some such title) and it includes TV episodes, too. Can’t wait for it to arrive!
The two movies I don’t really like - and this may get me banned from Santa’s list - It’s a Wonderful Life and A Christmas Story. Neither of these ring my jingle bells!
Hope you’re all feeling better!
