joy in the Mornings

I did some antique shopping locally yesterday. My mom and my kids and I loaded up and stopped at a local antique mall and another little store.

It’s been quite some time since I’ve been antiquing and I’d forgotten how much I love it! It was fun taking the kids along because they got to see some neat things they’d never seen before and I had the chance to show them items that I remembered from my childhood (I’m not that old - but I remember plenty of things in my grandparents’ homes).

I ended up buying myself a beautiful, white teapot. Original price: $25. Final price: $6.78. My husband was quite impressed with my bargaining abilities when I told him the final price - until I explained that the particular item was 75 percent off!

Now I can’t wait to do some more browsing!
